Meet Jenna Lee
A Journey from Darkness to Light
Surviving domestic violence and childhood abuse is a journey that often feels isolating, but even
in the darkest moments, there are rays of hope that break through. The road has been long and
painful, but every step forward has reaffirmed one undeniable truth—there is life beyond the
pain. There is healing, there is hope, and there is a future worth fighting for.
From an early age, life was a contradiction—moments of love and joy intertwined with trauma
that left deep and lasting wounds. The scars of manipulation and grooming weren’t visible, but
they shaped a self-image built on confusion and pain. Even as the world saw a strong and
capable person, inside, the weight of those experiences made it difficult to recognize my own
worth.
Adulthood brought new challenges, layers of domestic violence that were carefully hidden
behind the illusion of a perfect relationship. His public charm masked the private
reality—control, isolation, and abuse. My voice was silenced, my independence stripped away.
Faith, something that should have been a source of strength, was twisted into a tool of
manipulation that deepened my shame and self-doubt.
But something inside me refused to be extinguished. I clung to the belief that I was meant for
more. Slowly, I began to rebuild. Education became my escape and my empowerment. I fought
my way through school, earning degrees in Victim Studies and Victim Service
Management—not just for myself, but for every survivor who has ever felt trapped, alone, or
unseen.
That promise—to use my experiences to help others—became the foundation of this mission.
The Jenna Marie Foundation was born from pain but built on resilience. It exists to provide
survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault with immediate,
holistic, and confidential support—because no one should have to walk this path alone.
I know the fear, the uncertainty, the ache of wondering if life will ever feel safe again. But I also
know the power of healing, of reclaiming your voice, and of stepping into a future that is no
longer defined by the past.
To every survivor still in the shadows: You are not alone. You are worthy. You are stronger than
you know. And when you are ready, we will walk this journey with you—toward safety, toward
strength, and toward a future where you are free.
